Pastor Creed was born in Washington, D.C. on February 18, 1982. He was raised in a pastor’s home, the son of Pat and Pam Creed. At age nine, during a revival, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. While attending high school at Independent Baptist Academy in Clinton, Maryland, he continued to grow in the Lord. During the annual teen camp the summer of 1998, he answered to call to preach. Knowing that a call to preach is a call to prepare, Pastor Creed attended Crown College of Powell, TN. It was during this time at college that God brought Tiffany into his life. They dated for five years before marrying on July 17, 2006.
After college Pastor Creed worked as a youth pastor for five years before God directed him to start a church in Virginia. On November 21, 2012, Pastor and Tiffany moved to Kilmarnock, Virginia to start Bayshore Baptist Church. God worked in a great way as souls were saved and baptized. After nearly six years, God directed Patrick and his family to Asheville, North Carolina where he was installed as the Pastor of Temple Baptist Church on August 5, 2018.
Pastor Creed and his wife Tiffany have three lovely children – Aliyah (9), Colton (6), and Hudson (4). They love spending quality time together in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Some of the family’s favorite activities are Fun Depot, Cracker Barrel, hiking, playing UNO and Rook, and ministering in the church.
Pastor is blessed to come from a family full of preachers: his father pastors Faith Independent Baptist Church in Glenn Dale, MD; and his grandfather, Dr. Pat Creed, Sr., has pastored for over 25 years and continues to preach in mission’s conferences throughout the country. Additionally, he is blessed to have five uncles who are pastors.
Romans 8:28 is Pastor’s life verse: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
